About Joris

I’m Dutch, twenty-four years old and work for the Global Reporting Initiative’s SME team. I have a background in International Political Economy (Master’s) and Liberal Arts (Bachelor’s). Throughout my studies and my work with GRI I have been focussed on development and globalisation in LDC’s and emerging economies. Sustainabability is the central concern here and Small and Medium Enterprises, collectively, have a huge impact. Many of these companies are part of global supply chains. That is, in short, how it all fits together.
